it's all a plus/minus tradeoff

imo, if having a waterproof pump is important to you then having 2 pumps should be high on your list
of pump "features"

if you're rich, buy *2* 511 pumps. 🙂

if not then check with Disetronic to find out if their model that comes with 2 pumps is still
offered (or when/if it will be)

afaik, Disetronic is the only pump maker who's ever offered 2 pumps with a single purchase

to my view, they should *all* do that

Minimed overnighted a replacement pump when it was needed. Less than 14 hours after calling them I
had a new pump in my hands.
