Are you guys seriously still recommending the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 after all the reports of durability issues and quality control problems? Whats the point of shelling out top dollar for a shoe thats just going to fall apart after a few hundred miles?
I see all these glowing reviews from experts and testers but how many of them actually put in the kind of mileage that a serious cyclist would? Im talking 5,000 miles a year, not some casual Sunday cruise around the park.
And dont even get me started on the improvements Brooks claims to have made to the GTS 21. A new upper material thats supposed to be more breathable? Give me a break. We all know thats just code for we cheaped out on the materials to save a buck.
Im not buying the hype on this shoe. Ive seen too many reviews from actual cyclists who have had nothing but problems with the GTS 21. So Ill ask again, whats the point of recommending this shoe when there are clearly better options out there?
And to all the Brooks fanboys out there, spare me the its a great shoe, you just got a bad pair nonsense. Ive seen too many reports of quality control issues to believe that.
So, Ill ask again, whats the real reason youre still recommending the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21? Are you just drinking the Brooks Kool-Aid or do you actually have some real-world experience with this shoe?
