there is a type of soup served in local Vietnamess restauants, I have seen it made sometime with
chicken, sometimes with a melange of sea food. The broth is extremely flavourful, made with tomato,
pineapple and lemongrass. Does anybody know what it is, and how to make it?
Any insights appreciated, thanks
Leslie

Syrup Fudge
I posted this on rfc last week and have not seen a response. I also have not seen the request here,
so let me repeat it for rfr:
On another group, a gentleman is looking for a fudge recipe. He wrote: "Back in the 50s I used to
make fudge with a recipe that came attached to Pennant maple syrup. It was probably the best
homemade fudge that i ever had." Does anyone happen to have this recipe? Thanks.

Hello,
I'm looking for a very simple Butternut Squash Soup recipe that was in the old Cooks Magazine
sometime in the 1980's; probably mid-80's while they still had paintings on the cover. As I recall
the recipe consisted of Butternut Squash, onions (and/or leeks) thyme, nutmeg, salt and was finished
with cream. The recipe was part of an article on soups that included a tomato soup (or bisque) and I
believe two other soups (cream may have been the connection).
Thanks in advance for any responses.
