My wife and I are going to be in Italy (again!) in March and April. I am a confirmed lover of veal,
especially the many ways it is prepared in Italy, and I practically survive on it when I am there.
My wife, however, although she likes veal, refuses to eat it in the US because she objects to the
way the young animals are treated, particularly the manner in which they are slaughtered. Does
anyone happen to know whether the situation is similar in Italy or whether more humane methods might
be in use there?

ever had in my entire life!I bought an entire weanling Brangus calf that had been with it's momma on free range graze.
I need to make freezer space so I can do it again.

(FYI, Brangus is a Brahma/Angus cross. Very popular in this area.)
