Whats the big deal about work stand adaptors? Ive seen pros and serious enthusiasts swearing by them, claiming theyre essential for any bike, but I just dont get it. Are they really necessary for every single bike out there? Cant you just use a regular old work stand and some careful balancing to get the job done?
Ive seen some adaptors that are specifically designed for certain types of bikes or frames, but what about the rest of us? Do we really need to shell out extra cash for an adaptor just to make our work stands compatible? And what exactly is the benefit of having an adaptor anyway? Is it really going to make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things?
It seems to me that a lot of this is just marketing hype, convincing people they need something they dont really need. But at the same time, Ive heard from plenty of people who swear by their adaptors and claim theyre a game-changer. So, whats the truth? Are work stand adaptors a must-have for every bike, or are they just a luxury item for the serious enthusiasts?
