  1. I've got a K2 Mod 5 frame and fork that needs a headset. I went to one LBS that said I need a zero
stack headset but didn't have them in stock. The next LBS I went to said, "No, that takes a hidden
set. We don't have them in stock." I called another LBS that said I should bring the frame in to
them so they could measure the head tube and order something for me.

So I'm confused. Does anyone know what kind of headset this frame takes? Seems like a simple
question. Part 2, where can I buy one?

Answer to part 1: Cane Creek IS2 integrated zero-stack (per the K2 website www.k2bikes.com).

How do you like your K2? I've got about 5,000 miles on mine and I love it so far.

My guess is Cane Creek or FSA 1 1/18" hiddenset. Both are widely available. Call Colorado Cyclist or
is it Excel Sports who sells K2 frames. BTW, your frame should have one pre-installed (Taiwanese).

Wow! Where'd you find that on their site? They've got a section called "Tech Library" with service
manuals but no mention of a Mod 5. There is a "Tirade" service manual though. My tirades are fine,
thank you, BUT WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN MOD 5 INFO!!!

    Sorry. All better now.

I have zero miles on mine. I bought it used and was hoping to build it up this weekend but that's
not to be. It feels awfully light. I'm hoping to fall in love within a couple miles.
