I've just started doing my own maintenance on my bikes. I've got a couple of cone spanners and
dismantled, cleaned and re-greased the front wheel bearing. Now I want to do the rear wheel. Do I
need a gear casette remover in order to do this, or should I be able to undo the other side of the
hub and pull the whole thing through on the casette side? I've tried doing this without luck, but if
it can be done maybe I need to try again. Dave.

do you have a freewheel or a freehub? these sites should tell you all you need to know
