  1. Last week a charge showed up on my Amazon account for some sort of service. I reported this to Amazon and they refused to do anything about this since they claimed that it was a service I received. I didn't even know what the hell it was. Now I looked in my Paypal account and the same sort of thing occurred there -

I have no idea what the hell this is since I do not purchase things other than bicycle parts on Ebay.

Upon contacting Paypal they say that this is a service I already received and that while they would discontinue ongoing payments to this group I am responsible for their own fraudulent charging me money for something I did not order and did not want.

If you have been using Amazon or Paypal you might want to stop your accounts before they pull this sort of thing on you as well.

Also if anyone has had this happened to them as well please let me know. It this has happened enough we can start a class action lawsuit again one, the other or both.

  2. Not sure how you didn't know. PayPal sends an alert with every purchase or transfer of money.

Seems you could have had a chance to contest it the day of the charge. I pay attention to my transactions the day of.
