I have just bought a bike and want to add a computer.
Has anyone any suggestions as to the best wireless computer?

Specialized.com makes Speed Zone wireless w/ten functions and accumulates total miles to 99,999
Also check out the Specialized Turbo elite, wireless with wired cadence if you care about that.
We really like our Specialized Speed Zone Pro Classic computers. They give a pretty decent altimeter and gradient reading as well as all the other normal functions of a bike computer.
It's $100, but worth the money for every time you can say...'yeah, and when I hit the 16% gradient, I was totally bonking..."

If looking at the higher end, any thoughts on the Garmin Forerunner?

Just bought one for ~$120 (haven't received yet).
I like the fact that is self-contained, making it easy to take to another bike or for a run in a new trail (its intended purpose), maybe even use to get a total distance in an open water swim (I'm probably being optimistic in this last one).
Add Mavic's entry to the list, although I understand it is tough to get your hands on one right now.
The Computer:
And the pick-up which is incorporated into the skewer.
(I picked up a Cat Eye Cordless 7 off E-bay for $26 + Shipping). 😉
I'd love to get my hands on one of the Mavic computers, no luck yet though. LBS's warehouse can't get any from Mavic yet.
