I was recently invited to a so called Fiesta Ride. The destination is Quezon province that is south of Manila for their traditional celebration of harvest. It is called Pahiyas. Riders go there to join in the fun - colorful parades and procession, not to forget the food that the sponsors had prepared. That's the fun during summer, there are occasions in almost all provinces that riding groups usually get invited. Unfortunately, I couldn't join the 100-kilometer ride for I might not endure the heat. Besides, the swelling in my leg might manifest again.
I know some local events that are being organized by some enthusiasts in my city but I hardly have the time to enlist and join. I think these events are more and more getting more fun with all these interesting aspects added to them like tourism, travel and other advocacy
