Which One?

I can't imagine riding a 41 lb bike! Up to you but I would go with the Pinnacle. Where did you get the specs for weight for the Raleigh?

Or should I fork out another £60ish and get the Misceo 2.0. The raleigh misceo 2.0 is also 19KG (19.8KG/43.6LBS) to be exact. The only difference between the misceo 1.0 and 2.0 is that on the misceo 2.0 it has disc brakes.

49 is really high for a hybrid. Most should be sub 30.
Honestly those bikes are pretty similar.
The Misceo 2.0 seems to come with a rigid fork so you have to be mindful of if you want suspension or not.
Well the Pinnacle has a lockout fork so it's kind of the best of both worlds.
I would imagine at that price point there is a really good chance 90% of those bike's components were pumped off the same assembly line.

So funny that the wheelies site offers "financing from 11..."
If you have to finance a $300 bike.. perhaps it's not the right time for you to buy a $300 bike...

FYI I am in Canada and I use a UK site called Chainreaction, My friends and I have spent at least $1000 on that site because it's so awesome, pretty cheap, has amazing selection and will ship to Canada for free!

Hi, I think you misunderstood. The bike isn't 300USD, it's 300GBP = 466USD. I'm going to buy either bike outright. However, I'm wary about the pinnacle because there isn't a store near me where I can try it. Btw, I live in the UK. I also checked the specs of the Raleigh misceo 1.0 against the pinnacle cobalt one and the specs are nearly the same. Except the Raleigh is 41lbs whereas the pinnacle is 27lbs

I was just laughing at the financing option, I was no way implying that you couldn't afford this bike at all. I just thought it was funny.
But yes I know that you are in the UK and using pounds, I don't think conversions are necessary as I'm sure that bike costs you the same as it would cost me here with the relative purchasing power of the currencies, any difference would be negligible in this case (IMO of course, I'm not FX expert.)

My next point was actually about being able to try the bikes out too see which ones fits your better. No amount of research or internet people's opinions can determine that one.
The weight is significant. However without being able to try them both to compare it's hard to say if it would make a difference to YOU (that's really all that matters.)
I am going to assume you are just using it around town and maybe a few trails? I am not sure if the weight would be an issue, I am thinking if you are not racing or jumping perhaps the weight isn't a big deal.
I am curious now as to which one you end up picking!

Hi, I am going to try the Raleigh misceo 1.0 in halfords next Friday because that is when they are getting more stock. If I don't like it I think I might have to take a gamble and get the pinnacle without trying it

That's the shipping weight. Alloy-framed hybrids and MTBs with basic suspension forks usually hit the scale around 32-35 libs. You only get under 30 if you lose the fork and go rigid, like a Trek 7.1FX.

I don't know about the Pinnacle, but we've put a lot of happy customers on the Misceo.

Fit on bikes like thiis is pretty elementary. The seat tube sticker on the Misceo has fit guide, but there's some overlap. If you're between sizes, it's a bit of a judgement call. Lanky proportions, go with the larger one, stumpy, go with the smaller.

Hi, on the pinnacle bike link (evanscycles.comcobalt one 2015 hybrid bike ec071288Open ↗) , if you click on questions it says the medium frame is 12.6kg/27.7lbs complete. It was answered by a pinnacle expert. I'm going to try the misceo 1.0 on Friday . If I like it I might buy it. Or should I get the misceo 2.0 for an extra £60? Everything is the same except the 2.0 has disc brakes.
