  1. I was wondering if anyone else experiences poeple asking for directions while running. I use to run
a lot more and people in cars would actually stop me and ask me how to get such and such. Anyone
    else experience this??

Glad to help, just proceed to the bottom of the hill, turn right and then left and left again, can't
miss it. If you hear gunshots, duck quickly.

  3. Oh yeah, I get it all the time. I suppose people assume that if you run the streets you know
where everything is. I'm usually glad to help out and actually I am pretty familiar with the area
    (small town).

I get asked sometimes also. It's not a big problem, it is a training run after all. If you run by
time, you hit the split button. It's not often, but I am glad to answer when I can. (I'm good
navigating myself around, but I don't always look at the names of the streets!)

Yep, and I can help them sometimes as long as they don't ask directions by address (use landmarks
and hwy names, not addresses or route numbers). Some will even drive beside me so I don't have to
stop (lightly traveled street). OTOH, if somebody starts driving like that and doesn't ask
directions, I'm looking for a way out.

It's a natural assumption if you somebody walking, running, or biking that they are from the area
and would be able to provide directions.

Oh, you spotted me, eh? Did you see what my hand was doing?

  7. I don't get it either. Why ask directions from someone dressed like a clown?
