Is anybody familiar with the Shimano Alfine BL-5705 brake?
I am wondering if I can make a set with two of these brakes? Any reason why I couldn't? Thanks

Presuming that you have the correct length hydraulic (?) line for the rear caliper, I think it will mostly be a cosmetic issue to use the SAME lever for both the front & rear ...
So, why not?!?
