tRNA's coded the same G_C

  1. Some ideas on the orign of life

    IF we say that all tRNA's in the primordial soup are built such that their anticodons are G_C Then
    some very curious things happen.

    Let's say we have 2 tRNA's and one is acting as a mRNA does today. The first tRNA has G_C for its
    anticodon. The 2nd is identical and because it is in the opposite mRNA position, the bases bond
    exactly IF the center bases are A/U or G/C That means that all proto tRNA's could have the same
    basic anticodons of G_C

    Now note that the 4 amino acids that are most likely to be found in prebiotic experiments are those
    coded by G_C with _ = G,C,A, or U

    And note that the difference in all these is the base in the middle position - which is the most
    important position in the 3 codon coding.

    Now note the properties of these 4 GGC = Glycine, can be found either on the interior or exterior
    GCC = Alanine, is mildly hydrophobic but can be found on the interior or exterior. Thus all those
    with all G and C are neither highly hydrophobic or hydrophilic GAC = Aspartic Acid, which is
    hydrophilic and found on the surface GUC = Valine, which is hydrophobic and found on the interior.
    Thus when the A/U is introduced to the coding, then hydrophilic/hydrophobic split is also introduced
    to the coding.

    This all seems to fit. First RNA = tRNA with all having the same code = G_C (but why that code) With
    the center position the main variant. Thus producing the 4 most produced amino acids And when A/U is
    introduced to the center position we have the hydrophobic/ hydrophilic split.

    But then why the G_C at first? And how did chaning the center base alter the Amino acid so
    much. Comment?
