  1. Hey guys I'm pretty new to cycling. I used to go to a local bike trail almost everyday last summer, but I haven't been in a long time. With me being on summer break from school I need a challenge to give me the motivation to try and get back at it and get back in shape. So.. I need your guys help!! 🙂 could you help me think of a challenge I can give myself to motivate and reach my goal? Maybe a mileage goal? Or something like I start a thread where I post a picture a day of my bike at the trail? Something that forces me to get back in shape and get back on my bike. Any ideas?

  2. yes the mileage goal, or duration goal, then you can log your workouts into mapmyride for example and see how you progress every month, i would be against a blog or similar stuff because you get discouraged by the few number of visitors you get on the webpage, so

Okay thanks for the idea 🙂 ill check that out !

  4. You should join Strava. They always have challenges to complete every month. PLus, you get to see how you stack against others.

  5. Join a local club, if there is one nearby. You'll learn more and faster and train harder with someone on your wheel.

Strava and MapMyRide are good for online motivation.
