Specialized shoe sizing?

Does anyone here have experience with Specialized shoe sizing? The US numbers seem off to me. I'm wondering how big the jumps are with whole sizes. I have a pair of 47s right now, but they're pretty snug. I'm wondering if 48s would be the right move, or if they'd be too big. The footbed measurement on my shoes (the 2012 Pro Road model) is 30.2 cm. How much larger are the 48s? Dan
