I am new to cycling. I have been a runner for a long time and I am about to start doing triathlons. I am looking for a good entry level bike that is around 2-300. I have found the GMC denali 700c and the Shimano Zerograv. Are these any good? if not, what are some good bikes?

Also, what about the Raleigh Airlite 100

I would stay away from the Denali or any other road bike spec'd with grip shifters for that matter. I don't have any experience with the Zerograv but Airlite doesn't seem bad.
