I purchased an HGH product advertised on a T.V. infomercial several years ago. I carefully followed
the instructions; one spoonful of powder mixed in juice in the morning, and the same at night. After about one week, I awoke one morning EXTREMELY dizzy, EXTREMELY nauseus, the room spinning, a
"buzzing" sound in my ears, and my eyes bouncing back and forth, side-to-side uncontrollably!!
Within an hour I was in a hospital emergency room, then admitted for three days on I.V. fluids to
flush my kidneys. My doctor said I had, "A reaction to something in the product."
In addition to the proverbial "impurities" which alone can make one sick, almost all HGH amino-acid
"cocktails" contain the amino-acid Glutamine.Glutamine is converted to Glutamic Acid in the brain which triggers an INCREASE in the "firing" of
neurons in the brain, risking seizure-like symptoms! Also, in large amounts Glutamine is dangerous as some reports indicate it can precipitate pre-mature
alzheimers and other types of neurological dysfunctions.I later called the company and cancelled my order. Soon after, that particular product ceased being
advertised, only to be replaced by another HGH product now in capsule form.I had a close call. Be carefull!!
