I think the FOX rear shock makes all the linkage designs viable, now ...
So, YOU need to decide which type of linkage + how much rear (especially) & front travel YOU want for the type of riding which you think you plan to be encountering.
Also, to state the obvious, get feedback on what your Mates are riding & whether they wish they had a different type of linkage on [U]their[/U] bikes.
