After a while, the rubber grips are not so comfy on my bare hands.
What are some decent cycling gloves you guys recommend? I am not a hardcore cyclist or anything so don't need anything crazy expensive or top of the line gear.

Pennsylvania?
Cheap or pricey, the humidity of Ohio summers kills my gloves. For most of my training miles I still wear the $6.99 Bike Nashbar crochet back gloves. Not the best padding in the world for 6-8 hour days in the saddle over rough roads, but they are, under most conditions, more than good enough. They are just a bit cooler with the mesh back than my lycra racing gloves.
At $7/pair you can ditch them when they get crusty and grab another pair without breaking the bank. If you decide to try them, order larger sizes. They run small in their cut.
