  1. Hi Folks,

I'm in the market for a new computer.

I'd like to keep the budget under $200 and am looking for the following basic functions:

    Speed
    Cadence
    HRM

    What do you guys like?

    Thanks

  2. bump...anyone?

  3. I use a Garmin500 much of the time which is out of your mentioned range, but in conjunction with the sotware it is pure gold! Sometimes I like to go old school RPE to accentuate the raw aesthetic appeal of my lovely stem without the accoutrement. I used to have a cheaper Polar - I never used it as it was just too cumbersome to bother with. Couldn't really recommend it.

  4. Tried Cateye, Polar and Union but in the end nothing compares to Garmin edge 500. It just works without any issues and the software is great as well. i have been using it for over 2 years now and never have had any issues with it. In the long run probably better to spend a few more dollars and get theGarmin.
if you ever get a power meter, it will work with that as well.
