  1. Hi all,

I went to the doctor today to have a mole removed from my body. I also had the flu at the time so
    the doctor prescribed me amoxillicin.

I have read a lot that states that antibiotics such as amoxicillin do not fight viral infections
    such as flu, colds, etc.

However, should I take the amoxicillin in order to prevent secondary bacteria infections?

Also, any advice on flu shots would be greatly appreciated. The last flu shot I had was about 4
years ago and about 3 weeks or so after getting the flu vaccine, I got the worst case of
influenza of my life. I guess it is possible that I just picked up a different strain. My
question is "It is possible to become sick from the flu vaccine even though they are injecting
    you with the dead virus?"

    Thanks in advance, FF
