  1. hello all, new to the site, great info here. I am a fellow cydesdale, two years ago I weighed 323 lbs, and was on 4 pills for bp , at 40.
    a friend got me into riding dropped down to 215 lbs and off all meds, unfortunately an acl and mcl stopped my riding for awhile and I decided to have a pitty party and gained and am back to 280. started back to riding docs have cleared, got 22 miles in today. looking for motivation and knowledge.

    currently ride a
    2011 Specialized Roubaix Rival Compact

  2. doug 1969, I see it's been a while since you posted. Welcome! Hope you have been successful with your goal of again reducing your weight.

  3. Been awhile since on here. Riding and weight have been up and down. Pulling the big gear kinda hurts, so I just breeze along. Up to about 25-30 miles 3 times a week on the park way here. Average on those rides went from 13.9 to about 17 depending on climbing. Weight is coming down more slowly this time, at 250 and bp is good. Just being patient this time with riding and weight loss.
