A few weeks ago I started riding rollers and noticed I was drifting to the left. I think I know why now.
While my left knee goes up and down straight, my right knee comes closer to the top tube at the top of the stroke. When I tilt the inside of my foot up, my knee stays further away from the top tube, and I find it easier to ride straight on the rollers.
I'm thinking of trying a cleat shim to keep my knee going straight. Anyone tried this?
Look at www. lemondfitness.com/products/lewedge/indes.html. This is a cheap thing to try, at about $25. But sometimes the problem is in the hip or elsewhere, not in the tilt of the foot.

With SPD cleats it's a simple matter to put a washer(s) under the cleat at one mounting bolt. If you put more than one, you may have to get longer bolts, but they're easy to find in a good hardware store (at least with phillips head).

They worked for my speedplays for medial knee stress, I bought mine at www.critracing.com for $17. Its the least expensive price I've seen. Good luck.
