I have a newer Schwinn Varsity road bike that i picked up in late spring and have covered a couple hundred miles on it over the course of the past few months. After a while of adjusting things to my comfort level lately I have noticed my right rear brake pad is rubbing the sidewall of my tire when riding and no matter the adjustment i try it wont stop. Any ideas? ill post pics and go into more detail a litle later.

FYI. Most V-brakes have "orbital" brake pads ...
But first, you probably want to ensure that the pads are centered when they are open ...
Then, you want to loosen the offending pad (usually a 5mm Allen inserted into the end) ... raise-or-lower + square the pad against the rim's braking surface ... add a slight toe-in to the front if that is how you prefer to set up your pads ... tighten ...
Check again to ensure the pads are centered ...
Done.

Also, make sure your wheel is tracking straight and is true.
