Beginner here so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I need a replacement of the top pieces in the picture(triangle looking things) and cant seem to find just those pieces separately. Is there a special name for those pieces? Anyone know where to find them without paying $40 for a whole new set of cleats since i only need those. Thanks!

  2. The part you're looking for is the base or adapter plate. It allows you to attach the 4-bolt Speedplay cleat to a 3-hole road shoe. Speedplay does not sell these separately, but you can get a cleat extender base plate kit for $36. It gives you an extended plate that gives more latitude in cleat placement, and includes everything but the cleats themselves. I don't think that's exactly what you're looking for.

Buy the cleat kit and keep the spares in your toolbox. Cleats wear out faster than pedals and base plates.
