I share your cynicism for politicians in general, but Bush is or was a runner, and we can all
relate to that.

Last Summer he suffered an ACL knee injury, rested from running, tried to return recently and was
just told that surgery is not necessary. He may not be able to ever return to running, however. He
is about 57, I think. Do "joggers" typically become more injury-prone around this age ?

Do you know the specifics of his case. Could anyone enlighten me about Bush's injury and rehab ?

He's been deep-water running. I take that as a sign he plans to return. He currently has a
meniscus tear.

I'd be surprised if he didn't go back to it.
