So, these (Time Sport, multiflex) pedals were with a bike I picked up from a yard sale a few years ago. I wanted to put them to use, so I went to my LBS and asked for cleats and shoes to match. The guy told me they were [censored]. If I remember right, he said they are somehow obsolete. Is this true? I figured I could just go to ebay and pick up the right cleats and be on the road, but it sounds like maybe that's not in the cards. Also, there's about a million of them on ebay for about $20, so that says to me that everybody's trying to get rid of them. Anyways, wondering if you all agree that I should ditch them or is there a cleat/shoe combo I can snag to make this fly. Thanks!
