  1. Just back from a few days spent in Germany.

I was in North Rhine Westphalia to be precise and Cologne more specifically.

There is an excellent Olympic Museum with several interesting pieces. The museum located in the city's harbour contains a huge amount of sporting memorabilia from all sports including cycling.

There is a formula 1 racing car, boxing ring, bobsleigh, gym equipment and a static bike (52x16 ratio) which visitors can cycle and which measures your wattage and is linked to a wind tunnel set up.

Plenty of stuff there to do with Coppi, Merckx and co. With world champion jerseys and old Bianchi jerseys on display as well as tonnes of other sporting artefacts.

    Well worth a visit.

  2. Speaking of cool Museums the Childrens Musuem in Providence RI has a bicycle that children can pedal. Along side of this bike is another that has a human skelton on it. As the kids pedal the skelton pedals along and you can see all the movements your skelton makes while pedaling a bike.
Sometimes neat things are just around the corner we need only open our eyes.
