Hello everyone! New here and somewhat new to cycling. I biked in the past, but more for recreation then anything else. This year I seemed to get bit by the biking bug and have completed various tours...most recently a metric century in June and have another one next week. At the end of September hoping to complete a full out century and trying to get some training and advice. Don't know a lot about cycling, so appreciate any help or advice anyone can offer. Thanks in advance!

Hello Meg and welcome to the forum. Specific questions are a lot easier to answer, and you already might know some of the things that I am going to mention.
Wear your helmet and wear it correctly. It amazes me how many people I see with their helmet straps unbuckled or loose and the helmet pushed way up on the back of their head.
Use a Hydration Pack or Water Bottles...You probably already do this if you completed a Metric.
Eat while riding.... you probably did this on your Metric also.
Make sure that your bike fits....Ditto if you are riding that much.
Like I said, specific questions are easier to answer. You can learn a lot about cycling by reading through the forum in the current and past posts, but then that takes away from time in the saddle.
