    Most people who ride regularly will change their bar tape every few months, there's a fair chance most do it themselves. The guys from Park Tool have a good howto article here;

    parktool.comhandlebar tape installation drop bar

  3. I've always wrapped my own bars. My father taught me how when I was 12 years old, after my first crash ripped the tape that was on the bike when it was brand new. It is easy, especially with the Park Tool website's directions. Just take your time, and remember, if you mess up the first time around, you can always unwrap it and try again. It is a lot easier though if you roll the tape back up as you remove it from the handle bar. As a matter of fact, I am going to be wrapping the handlebars of my daily rider tomorrow. I usually do it about 3 times a year for black tape, more often for the white that is on my Centurion.

  4. I Just finished it, made me feel empowered. I get arthritis in my hands, thinking of wrapping it thicker in some areas... but im just going to leave it..
