There are many types of car roofracks (almost as many as there are models of car).
Thule makes racks for most of the common fittings and they have a lot of info on their website on the racks which fit different models of car.
I would start there (or elsewhere if others know of a similar company). -
Thanks for the reply, but I meant something that attaches to the roof rack that will hold a cycle.

That's fine, but even in that case Thule is still THE place to start looking for a bike mountings.
