I am going to be visiting a friend in LA (zip 90035) for about 6 weeks this summer, I live in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad. I am going to be buying a new bike (to replace my stolen mountain bike) and want to ride while I am on my vacation.
Is there anybody on the site familiar with the area and can suggest some routes?
Also, what should I expect in terms of laws that cyclists should adhere to? Can I wear my earphones on city streets for example?
Any suggestions you can make would be great, I am hoping to join some organised rides that I am seeing on the web.
