Nothing wrong with the Dr. Dew and yes, it is always wise to spend a bit more, if you can afford it, to get a better spec'd bike. Just looked at your link and [censored], for nearly 50% off, I'd be surprised if it's still there when you go back. Go back to the shop and hope it's still there and ride it home.
It has a good entry level components and after a few rides, you'll be glad you bought it.
