Name is Jerry. Ive been riding BMX and some Downhill MTB over the last 7 years. Although I won't give up completely, these extreme sports have taken their toll on me so it's time to settle down. I just purchased an Orbea Orca frame and Fork and will be completing my build by the end of March to be ready for this season. I have worked at bike shops part time for the last 6 years so I have a good amount of experience in the industry.
I recently got a promotion at my job so the consequences of getting hurt riding BMX and MTB are a little bit more costly. Seems as though Road biking is my next journey!

Hey Jerry welcome to the forum. I road mountain bikes my whole life as well and just recently switched to road cycling. I honestly didn't think it would be as much fun, but so far I think I enjoy it more. Good luck completing the build. I look forward to seeing pictures when it's finished.
