  1. Had a Mad, Mad, MAD weekend!

Friday I was galloping round like a one armed paper hanger, getting everything sorted for Saturday,
plus a bit of sewing... Got to bed at 2 am after some emergency baby-sitting for a neighbour!

Saturday I was teaching from 10 am to 3:30 pm, so needed to leave the house just after nine to give
me time to set up! Family Learning - my Christmas Stocking workshop... LOTS of fun, and there will
be new pix on the web site soon. Although I didn't do any formal exercise, I was really hungry that
day, and went 1 1/2 points over... Got to bed at 2 am after basting my sister's dress together!

Sunday (coo! Was it only yesterday?) we went up to my mum's for lunch and to fit said dress to
little sister. There were 8 of us for lunch! Lovely chicken casserole, chocolate cake for pudding,
and cheese and biscuits... Then we went to DH's parents for the night - 300 miles and more away at
the other end of the country! They gave us cold meat and salad for supper, and fruit salad for
pudding, so that was OK, but I doooooo like my beloved FIL's home made bread! 26 points for the day,
    so 4 points over!

Today we came all the way back, in time for son James to do his king bit in the cub scouts Christmas
Nativity play at 6 pm! Had FIL's spaghetti Bolognese for lunch, and a quick low point pasta & sauce
for supper... 16 points so far today, but the best part of 2 days in the car and no exercise!

And tomorrow is my birthday, so we are going out for lunch!

  4. Your weekend vaguely reminds me of a line of poetry by my favorite American
    poet, Robert Frost:

... and miles to go before I sleep, and miles before I sleep....

Surely with all the running you did all over the place, you burned extra points! Good for you!

I like his stuff too. One of the best is the one about the storm that starts 'This house has been
far out at sea all night... '

I certainly FEEL like I did a lot in the last few days!
