hi everyone, i would like to know what is wrong with my bike. the chain fell off a couple of times when i changed from big ring to small ring. it even stucked once and i almost fell off. i have recently had my rear derailler and gears adjusted. the front derailler was untouched. the chain is a couple of weeks old. please advise.

It sounds like the limit screws for the front derailleur need to be adjusted. I suggest going to the Sheldon Brown-Harris Cyclery website and searching for the article on derailleur adjusting. You can do it yourself--really.
