Hey Guys,
I've been cycling fairly regular for the last 4 years or so, but didn't ride much at all from last september through March or so. When I started riding again I was slow, as expected, but after riding nearly 2000 miles since may I've found myself exponentially stronger and faster than ever. I've only done minimal racing, but this year I'm going to continue training straight through the winter and come out next year ready to roll.
Problem is, I'm not sure how best to accomplish this. When it gets cold and starts getting dark earlier, it will be hard to keep the miles coming at the same pace if not impossible. I'm thinking of trying to ride once or twice a week during the winter, plus either swimming or running and a little bit of weights.
Any thoughts, or ideas from more experienced cyclists is appreciated, thanks.
