Hahaa.. weight and aerodynamics?? in tri/tt bikes?? ha! nobody cares about those 2 things! right?
It's almost finished...with a few more things to throw on and adjust. and a couple of nagging little issues...
1. front D/A caliper (mounting nut through the fork won't screw in??!!)
2. all cabling (which i'm expecting to be a PIAS - due to internal housing etc)
3. install Ultegra chain
4. bar tape
5. stem risers
I'll have it finished this week....still gotta drive out and pick up the LOOK pedals i've planned on mounting...sitting in a friend's garage.
YEs...i've googled and searched for small details like frame weight etc. not as easy as it sounds. I've found a few different numbers. weightweenies.starbike.com didn't have my frame/fork
I don't think I'm a true weight weenie. even though i have a spreadsheet with each individual part listed with it's weight - according to research. It's only if i had a proper digital scale would i classify myself as such.
So far...according to my floor scale....she's tipping in at 16-17lbs sans pedals of course. Not bad eh?? My target weight was /is 19lbs. all done with minimal carbon bits!! MINIMAL. only cf parts are fork, aero seat post, and saddle has some aero bits (spec. toupe).
Anyone have one of these rigs??
