  1. I have an older generation powertap hub (black cover with the two screws holding it on)

I only have the black CPU. I want to buy a compatible yellow CPU, which one can I buy? I have been told all yellow CPUs will to be compatible with my hub if attached to the wired cradle but I get a feeling thats not correct.

When I look for one to buy I see yellow head units wired/wireless, 2.4 wired/2.4 wireless??

Is the 2.4 frequency only in regards to the heart rate strap or does the rear sensor communicate with the hub also at that frequency, so could I buy a 2.4 wired head unit?

And how do you tell which is which, I know some head units have 2.4 written on the face but I have seen a few without 2.4 on the face and they are advertised as 2.4 or ANT+

    Helps needed
    thanks
    Karlos

  2. Come on - some one here must have the knowledge 😎

  3. I have 2 old PT's (one yellow hub with 2 screws and 1 black with 2 screws) and 2 new ones. I was told by saris that the new computers will not work with the old wired PT's, however I was also told that if I call them and send the old ones in that I can get 1/2 off a new PT.

  4. Thanks mortimer99, I'll get in contact with Saris
