  1. I currently have shimano WHR-510 wheels on my bike. The front wheel has just started to lightly rub on the brake pad as I am taking left hand turns while pedaling. I checked the runout of the wheel using the brake pads as a rough guide and do not see any runout that is anywhere near the pads. The brakes are properly centered. I always check this by applying the brakes and check for wheel deflection and position the caliper accordingly. Is there something going wrong with my wheels under load? Should I bring them into the shop to be repaired?

Make sure the wheel is all the way into the dropouts and perhaps the brake needs to be centered. Also make sure the hub is adjusted.
