I never did see my week 55 post so for that week I lost.8 LB and for week 56 I lost.4 LB I know this
might seem like slow going to some of you but I am frankly thrilled. My total overall loss to date
is 77.5 most of it lost on WW. I have still only done things to lose weight that I can do for the
rest of my life and that just feels wonderful, thanks to the wonderful people here I have committed
to reading this group until the pooter craps out again and I have to get another one, I hope
everyone has a superdooper week, Lee just basically happy with life

Wow Lee. You're doing so well! Losing 77.5 lbs is a wonderful accomplishment. Be proud! Hope your
pooter doesn't [censored] out on you again.Being on a program that can be followed for a lifetime is something I've needed to do for a long
time. I used to try any diet out there, Zone, Atkins, cabbage soup, grapefruit and eggs, Slimfast,
starvation. I've even survived on one meal a day and beer and coffee the rest of the time for awhile
(lost about 30 lbs). Went back to eating normally and packed on 50 lbs in no time. Yuck, thinking
back now I can't believe I've tried so many different diets. Glad I'm now following WW and would
never try any others again.

Down is down, Lee - and .8 is a fantastic loss! Congrats on another great week. I totally agree with
you, I am unwilling to do anything that I can not do for the rest of my life. I like my chocolate,
will NOT ever totally give it up. I can continue to enjoy it and maintain my weight. It's all about
making choices, give and take.Hope your computer continues to run for you. If you ever need a new one, check out Aldi's when they
offer them. It's only twice a year, and they go fast ... but for the money they are fantastic
systems. I couldn't build one for the price they sell them for. (it helps that the customer support
of the manufacturer is fantastic, too).Joyce

I am very proud. I have tried everything but the high meat diets. If I had
I would have starved. I am convinced that if I really do only those things
that I am willing to do for the rest of my life I will make it. I also know
that I get overwhelmed really easy from the perfect syndrome so I am taking
this very slow. I even refused to measure myself because I figured out if I
missed the scheduled day to measure I would be asking for trouble. The down
side is I don't know how many inches I lost. The up side is I don't have to
measure and I don't know how big I truly was, thanks for your support, Lee

Thanks, I can be accused of over analyzing but so far it is working and that
is the thrill. I have made changes it is true but nothing painful or
traumatic. I only occasionally have to say not now to what I want to eat.
Even that works though because as soon as I almost eat something that is too
high in points, I figure out a way to have it as soon as I can, Your example
has been very inspiring, Lee

it isn't slow to me either because one of the things I do is look at the
last 4 weeks. for this time it is down 4.8, up 1, down.8and .4. So my
total loss for the time is over a pound a week, and I haven't been hungry or
overly stressed about the food I am able to have. I am in there pulling for
you too. I think it is great you are hanging in there and keeping with the
program. I must admit, a gain for a trip overseas is a bargain I would
probably make, Lee

I'm frustrated w/ those ppl on all those diets. At work it seems EVERYONE is on the Atkins diet. I
told my supervisor that I had lost 4.4 pounds in my first week of WW, and she was like well I lost 4
pounds on Monday. I was angry, but hey, it's her choice. I don't really think it's a healthy diet,
and can't be maintained long term. I know I did try it twice, a week each time and I felt awful.Miss Violette said:
