I have a bike with Campag Xenon gears - (cogs and 3 chainrings. The left hand lever, for the triple rings, has the gear lever broken off, brake lever is OK. Does anyone know where I can get spares from? I know I can buy a complete new one, but that is expensive, and I fancy having a go at repairing it ! Having said that, if anybody has a reundant lever, complete or incomplete, let me know. If it's a complete double shifter I only need parts to repair mine. Well, that's the theory......

Do you still have the portion of the shift paddle which broke off?
If you are handy, you could probably fabricate a replacement ... tap out the rivet ... secure the replacement with a rivet-or-bolt OR an appropriately thick wire "clip" ...
BTW. Sheet steel is softer than you might think ... you could also fabricate a replacement from a 'chunk' of aluminum ... or, other material like oak.
Depending on where the paddle broke (and/or, if you have the part which broke off), you might be able to graft either the broken piece or whatever you fabricate by sleeving the joint or capping the remaining stub with whatever you make (I would try to figure out what size copper tubing could be manipulated into a 'square' which would sleeve over the stub, secure with JB WELD + at least one 1/64" screw/pin/whatever, and solder an appropriately shaped blade onto the end of the paddle. -

AlbertLike alienator said, ebay, there are lots of Campagnolo shifters, pairs...Cannot really be repaired as these innards(same as 2007/8 Centaur and below BTW) are not offered by Campagnolo.

Thanks for the replies, I've checked Branfords web site, looks useful. Unfortunately I don't have all the pieces of the gear lever, just the bit at the pivot. If I had I would have attempted a repair as suggested. I will be selling the bike as it's too large for me so I'm looking for a really cheap way to repair/replace the lever.
