  6. Woohoo Kate!!! That is terrific! I absolutely hated buying new bras, have the toughest time finding
something that I think fits well. I remember the first time I made the change, couldn't avoid it any
longer ... moved from a 42/44D to a 36B. I'm noticing it's time to change again and I am avoiding it
    like the plague. <sigh>

  8. Great NSV, Kate! I need to get some new ones as mine are starting to show serious wear. I have been
able to hook them on a smaller setting for a couple of weeks now!

AND they were only £7 each from Matalan! I used to pay £25 - £30 each! No point in spending big
money on them when I fully intend to need another smaller new lot in a few months time!

Well, I hope the Zeppelins go down a size or two as well! It's hard enough finding a 34F - a 32F
could be REEEELY tricky! 34C would be just fine!

That's what I was doing, but too many of the old ones have started shedding underwires into the
washing machine, and have other holes in... A 3" tear (from a pin while quilting) adds nothing to
the life span of a bra!

I too hate bra buying. I used to be able to buy only horribly expensive ones from folk like Fantasy,
Rigby & Peller, or whatever, but now that Matalan do these cheapo ones, they will do until I stop
changing size and shape. Once my size stabilizes, I shall treat myself to a few 'real' bras again!

  17. I heard about a company that actually has parties for undergarments, they
measure you and also make prosthetic devices and build them into the bras,
when I get to goal and have maintained for six month I am treating myself to
these, I am always too big in that area no matter what size I am anywhere
else and I think I deserve the best fit possible. Now, to remember where
    the company is located. Lee

  18. Now see I would think it would be good to go down like you did--around the band, not the cup!! That
means you've lost weight in your shoulder blades, under your arms, etc....

Oh, it does! In my thinnest days I was a 32C! That was a lovely soze to be when i was 19! I'll
settle for a 34C these days. Trouble is that if I keep losing like this and the fat on my back
    vanishes, I'll end up as a 32F!

That's when I had to make the effort to get new ones the last time I did. Elastic was popped all
over everywhere, and putting them on was really serving no purpose. I can currently get by with what
I have ... not quite right, but also not bad enough to have me running immediately to the store. One
    of these days. <g>
