1. Hi there,

I am working with a start up, as part of a university assignment, looking into the sports' speedometer market. I would appreciate if you can answer the following survey (only 10 questions) and forward it to other people who may be interested.

    Speedometer Market Survey

    Many thanks!

  2. Dear Nchacon,

I read your request for information on speedometers for ski and snowboard. I have been following this (potential) market and have looked at several technologies for implementation. At the moment I am doing some tests using a new technology. Did you get any information, and is there something we can share? Whare are you based ?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

  3. I have software that I use on my Windows cell phone called "Skiers App.' They have an iPhone version too.

I don't know if there are similar apps for other phones. It uses GPS to compute speed, distance, g force and altitude. I don't know why I would want to buy or carry a separate device. And I seldom use it. I don't think skiers are as interested in tracking their distance and performance as many cyclists are.
