Ok I'm ending this soap talk. I do get a kick out of your mental incapabilities, but you're right, it does get boring pretty quick, considering the fact of how DEEP your conversations get, and how shallow or "not that deep, surface mounted ?" people on here are.
roadhouse said:nothing wrong with cyber except for there is a time and a place and a way to be able to ammend situations with everyone's consent, not just because you two little girls start crying and someone needs something to do. and most people misinterpret what i say because, well, they're a lot like you, not that deep. surface mounted if you will.
LOL, there, that's the kind of DEEP I'm talking about, you're good...

Once again, compared to you ??? We all are very boring. Let me know when Big Lance will sign you up to Radio Shack. Oh yea, the stories of me riding... I didn't know I needed those. High end pieces of equipment ??? See, there's that deepness again...

Oh golly! A challenge! Well, I don't sit in front of a Lance Armstrong poster, waxing my dolphin, and my picture isn't in the DSM-4.
Hey, who needs your consent to do anything? You gave your consent for the mods to do what they do, when they do it, when you joined the forum. You can't read the rules? Sad, really.
yes, the certain some of you three little ladies are very boring, very easy too. 😄 and you're fun so it eventually equals itself out, as usual.
i was here before cyber made it to mod 'status' as you seem to want to only refer to it as and i knew back then who he was and how he rides a bike and what he thinks of cycling and how he backs it up...how he rides. nothing wrong with it but non ownership material just the same. don't let this place go to the likes of just that, please. not when it's now much more than just 'cycling' as you k-mart blue light special riders seem to make of it.
LOL😄, the best one by far, is that the very thing that he brags about, Ironman, and a site like Slowtwitch boots him off. What does that tell you Big Lance ??? 😕😄 I'm sorry, I'm not mean, but I just can't seem to stop. It's too much fun with this clown.

Brainfart ?? Try not to stutter. I know it's painful to think and type at the same type, so tell the staff at the psych ward to maybe type for you. Cyber rides his bike. Simple as that. So do I, and most people on here, just ride a their bikes. No one claims to be the champion, Ironman, or better than the world, like you (without actually riding or having a bike).
Please do me a favor..... REFILL YOUR RX when your doc tells you to. 😄

who are you to ask for anything from me? a simple no one. learn how you care to, learn with whom you decide it is that helps you but my only advice is to be you and as of all things recent and compliant with what makes you you, you are just not good enough, not noticable enough, forgettable in every aspects of who you are in your own skin.
sorry. fight me all you care to as you apparently have nothing else going for you, it won't change that so simple fact in my eyes. yours either but i'm not the one attacking any one and i doubt you have the eyesight nor intelligence to comprehend what i mean...chump.
I am sorry I do not have "mod functions" in soapbox. For the record I do ride a bike a as well as other forms of training. if that is a factor in being a mod to some members, I am willing to have my talents tested.

i'm sorry it wasn't easier for me to call out the next in line of the in need of attention mods that just must participate in a team effort albeit the missing word was team in itself as i've never known of you to do this before but since you're here..
when would you care to put you up against me? how? and who all will be present and no less than 200 miles to start with if you still think that that is what i was after nnd even if not. for you to just come along and throw up on aoner of my threads out of the blue that was until now not in need of any medical attention or cleanup is suspect, more than just any kind of transparent too.
why now huskey? why now do you feel the need to bark like this? why? who are you really defending or what is it that you are defending or how long has it been since you actually mattered in the world of pedaling a bicycle is pretty much it?...that long, huh?
bring it, chump.
let's just all be, please. let's just ride and be. we all make up this site so let's get past the bs and please for the love of Gawd, let's just be.

My point is that you seem to think that being competitive is necessary to be a moderator although I find no validity in your thinking. I can assure that I am competitive and find many problems with your postings.
The probability of us actually meeting is remote so why even rant about the outcome.
There are people here probably less talented than you and some much better and you just never know who you are dealing with.
My advise to you is to be respectful of others and clean up your act.

There needs to be a post of the week, and to me that wins it hands down!!!

honestly who cares, take a look around you are a relative newbie here, He's been here since 2003, and he's been made mod by other mods for a reason. Why is everthing a chalenge to you, is it because it makes you feel big. People are here for fun and we all respect others opinions and respected yours until they became a joke

Jhuskey, No one else seems to have a problem with your moderating, **** you've stoped threads i've posted on befor...when needed I might add. Do your self a favour and don't defend yourself against him, you dont need to, you have what he wants. No one needs to prove themselves here, it doesn't say anywhere that you need to be a competitive cyclist ( not saying you arn't if you are ) it doesn't say you need to be a cyclist either, i'm sure there are people here who dont cycle who have in the past ridden more miles then roadhouse has had breakfasts!!! We can all agree to disagree, and we do at times, some people just need to know when to stop!!!
P.S. Sorry about the multiple posts, if there is a way to join quotes from multiple posts and reply can someone let me know....not the most computer literate😄

Fixed that for ya... 😎
I also kept visiting here even through the Great SPAM Flood of 2008, when many other regulars here ended up vanishing...

Send a PM to Limerickman, he has mod permission here, he can merge them for you... 😎
Next to the Reply button is a plus sign, that's a multi-quote button, this is a new feature included in the current version of the vBulletin software that the forum runs on. When you click it it will turn red, indicating it's been selected for quoting. Do this for every post you want to quote before clicking the Reply button, and every post you want to quote will be contained in one reply.
Now with all of the above said, along with previous replies...
At the risk of sounding like Rodney King - again...
[ame=]Can we all get along?[/ame]
who cares huh? i care. don't negate what cycling is just because you have a bicycle or someone with a bicycle has mod status. that's not a good thing for the 'sport'. it only equals less heart and more stupid that way.
Is it time to bin this useless thread?
Roadhouse - whether someone does 10 miles per season or 12,000 miles per season is of no importance.
We're a broad church here at CF.

To finally answer your question...
I started riding a few years ago - before I hit what many would call 'middle-age' - because the turbo-charged metabolism I had as a kid started slowing down, when I was younger I could practically eat 3 times my weight in food and not show one pound of it. I started out riding a MTB on paved trails in Myles Standish State Forest back in 2005 with the wife - around the same time I joined this forum, but after moving to where I am now, I started getting the 'road bug' after meeting a neighbor who does some road racing and time trials. I eventually bought a used road bike through Craigslist in the fall of 2008 and I've been hooked on road riding ever since.
I joined this forum after Googling 'squealing brakes' - I found my answer to that problem here.
Not to mention, the wife tells me I look sexy in Lycra... 😉
