  1. sorry to bug you with this petty [censored] but it seems as if cyber is gung ho on abusing his moderator powers. not that things don't get a bit out of hand as they always seem to do on these forums but at least us users catch ourselves and make ammends with one another on our own terms. He's locking every thread and without due cause and it' gettin old.

I'd even go as far as to say that he's taking more than he's putting into this site. having a power trip button is all he's apparently capable of proving. I don't agree with it and he's not willing to say anything other than to pm him after the fact. no can do, i need someone with a bit more intelligence and respect and understanding for the world of sports to hear me out.It doesn't seem as if he's in the right place with being a moderator here. No hard felings towards him, i like him and appreciate his previous willingness to help me out but it's now going a bit too far. He doesn't even offer any insight to anything cycling, what's up with that?

just please ask him to refrain from stepping in as much as he does or at the very least until he's pm'd me first, that way it's a two way street from the start and i won't have to continue with this type of retarded [censored].

    Thanks for your understanding Steve,

    Preston.

  2. well, i got it all out of my system albeit i do feel as if i was guilty before proven innocent of all charges as my voice was cut short which is what really pisses me off, so much so that i feel the the atoms that make up the particles that make up my entire body shape shifting into a form of kenetic energy so as to be able to reach right through the dang net and throttle a few little people...eh, its over.

thanks for letting me rant just the same though.

  3. Well at least you got the right thread this time, you should try to stay in it. Cyber is doing a great job btw, it's you that gets out of topic and starts to attack others, accept that your attacks make no sense at all, and end up being hilarious. Thanks for always cracking me up though Preston. 😄

i freakin' like cycber, always kinda have and i respect the none cycling mod for his efforts nonetheless but if anyone thinks that i'm gonna back down from anyone who talks [censored] to me and that's usually how it happens if you pay attention, you've got another thing coming. it does seem to periodically get me into [censored] over my head though but what the hey, life is too short to back down.
you're welcome for the laughs though, i laugh at myself too so don't think i don't.

now quit being a prissy ass and go ride a hundred miles in whatever the whether is and be prepared to say goodnight to those trainer miles. 🙂

That's just it, all of his posts are all serious, umm, to him at least. That is why it always amazes me how someone like that actually can function in the real world... 😕 😕

Come to think of it, he's not in the real world so I guess it's ok. 😄 In Roadhouse's world, he's the Ironman champ, and Big Lance is his best friend that rides on his team. Oh, and he's also a fighter in the MMA.

Right Preston ??😄😄 Remember, anything's possible...

Incorrect. I have posted a number of routes I have actually ridden on MapMyRide.

Talk is easy. Actually doing something, though, is different. It's funny to see someone trash talk triathletes and some Ironman champs when that person has yet to do a single triathlon, let alone the Ironman.

The pros and the ex-pros do some of the rides, around here, during a week. They don't talk trash or beat their chests. Their just regular people on the rides, and by regular people I mean people that aren't boastful and that are friendly. Compare that to the local trash talker.

IMHO, what makes one a cyclist is that they ride. How much or how little one rides is irrelevant.

Yeah, I'll be the first to admit that I've been off the saddle for a few months now, but that doesn't mean jack ka-ka. My mileage total for this past season was kept low by a number of things such as my work schedule and the weather in these parts, gman can confirm that we've had a lot of lousy weather in these parts this past season, this past summer and fall were quite wet to say the least.

As far as winter riding is concerned, right now that's not an option for me. Right now I'm concentrating on trying to keep my home so I don't have the money to spend on a trainer or cold weather clothing, although I have been scouting eBay looking for some cold weather clothing at a decent price.

My bottom line - if one logs a lot of miles during a season, that's great. If one doesn't log a lot of miles during a season, so be it.

I'm sorry you feel the need to associate the need to talk that [censored] as if you see it as so. Maybe it's my mistake cause maybe my posts are a little one sided at times but I've got absolutely nothing but respect for The Ironman so if you are attempting to split hairs as they say well you don't have to as there's a huge difference to myself between simply being a triathlete and earning your Ironman. and the sh!t takes time. i honestly don't really feel the urge to ride or swim, only run for now but i can feel it in my bones that i'm gonna explode soon enough and 'm fully aware how i've talked the talk for quite some time about these 100 mile trips and that's pretty much the only way i see myself riding again, as i ended. As for he likes of the Kona pro's, that's all talk of course because i'm rooting for Lance and i tend to catch hell for simply just that. and i'll continue to defend it as i see it, we all know that much i am well capable of.

i know it's tough to get out cyber, i know all too well. and i also know all too well what it's like to not have the money to get things in order to be able to ride all the time as in all throughout winter. but why do you ride is what i wanna know?

  17. What does it matter why he rides? He likely enjoys it. As such, he's just as much cyclist as anyone else on this forum or at any race. It takes a special kind of rat to belittle someone for how much they ride or how far they ride.

Cyberlegend is doing a fine job of moderating. If you're pissy because you feel your words are misunderstood or misinterpreted, then maybe you should ponder this: why is it that so many misinterpret what you say? Maybe you ought to revisit how you're communicating. Why don't you take a year or so off from slagging anyone who doesn't drink the same kool aid you drink.

WTF are you on??? Is there some sorta dictionary or something I can subcribe to, that actually makes sense of your posts.

As for being a cyclist, I thought a cyclist was someone who road a bicycle.

I know a couple of them, one finished 40th in Lake Placid. They are the most humble and helpful guys I know, and always thinking they aren't as good for some reason.

nothing wrong with cyber except for there is a time and a place and a way to be able to ammend situations with everyone's consent, not just because you two little girls start crying and someone needs something to do. and most people misinterpret what i say because, well, they're a lot like you, not that deep. surface mounted if you will.
