this may be a bit hard for some to understand but my brain puts things out faster than my fingers can type and if that involves some rapid fire postings than so be it. I'll try harder but it's not critical thinking that is my best side, it's critical heart beating that i abide by.

True, but keep in mind users do actually have a time limit for editing their own posts, after which time the Edit button will disappear in each of those posts.

as for the edit button disappearing, i'm glad you said that 'cause i thought i really was nuts! i've looked for it a few times and wondered about that so thanks for explaining cyber.

The button does stick around for a decent amount of time, so if you think of something else that you wanted to say just go ahead and hit it instead of starting a new post. While you're in there, take a minute to edit your previous comments for grammar, punctuation, or anything else that will make your post clearer to read/understand for other members.

I see similar comments sometimes, but think about it this way: if someone can't take the time to organize and present their thoughts in a coherent way, then why should other posters take the time to respond? Personally, I don't care about the multiple posts, but if you'd like people to take the time to read and respond in a meaningful way then it might be worth putting a little thought into the content and presentation of your posted ideas. FWIW. 😎

When I first joined this forum a few years ago, the time limit for users to edit their own posts was only 20 minutes, it looks like Steve expanded it to about 2 hours when the forum software was upgraded.
