  1. Greetings,

I just purchased my first power meter (Power Tap 2.4 SL) As someone who's been training with a HRM for well over 10 year I'm really looking forward to it. I've been trying to do as much reading as possible which is how I found this forum. However, a lot of the acronyms in posts really have me guessing.

I've get FTP as I stumbled across it before landing here. However the following have me stumped.

    SST-

    CLT-

    L1 L2 L3 (etc).

    VAM-

    PMC-

Any help would be most welcome.

    TIA ;-)

    Mark

In addition to the glossary link that gman posted, you might want to check out the great info here: Power 411, How to train with WKO+ Software and a power meter

It'll tell you a lot more about what those acronyms really mean and their implications to training and racing than the glossary will.

  5. Here's a few TLAs and FLAs missing from the list:

    FFS
    RTFM
    HTFU
    JFR
    😄

  6. I'm working on a fullish explanation for each acronym to improve the original post - should have it done in time for the New Year complete with any additions to the list. Tyson 😉

  7. Finished list is here.
