I've been mussing with the S-works Barmac angle on the new steed and the instructions show the + sign forward of the bolt on the cap that sets headset load and the actual piece has the + sign aft of the cap bolt...I set it up with the arrow pointed fwd (per directions) but after thinking last night, this moves the bolt farther aft in the cap and when it is set to +4, this would move the bolt aft of vertical centerline of the headset...
So do I trust the instructions, the printing on the headpiece, or my analysis of the design (disclaimer: not an engineer by trade...)
You turn it one way if your stem has a positive angle and the other way for a negative stem angle, so that the cap sits flush and centered in either case.
